1. How large are your coffee bags?

All of our coffees are at least a  full 1-pound. Many others sell their coffee in 12 oz or 14 oz bags. Remember to look for this if you ever shop for coffee anywhere else!  We also offer our coffees in 5 pound bags for even greater savings.

2. What type of grind should I use?

We always reccomend that you grind your coffee at home, using a burr grinder. If you currently have a blade grinder, you may consider upgrading to a burr grinder as it will dramatically improve your coffee. We offer several grinders on our website for you to choose from! We also give the option for you to select a grind when you add a coffee to your shopping cart. Drip grind is fine for normal coffee makers, but if you are using a Press Pot (French Press) or a vacuum coffee maker, you should choose the 'French Press'. It is a coarser grind, well suited for your Press Pot Brewing. Press Pot brewing is the BEST method for enjoying coffee, we have french presses at great prices - check them out!

3. Do you ship to ______?

We ship to many countries around the world.

If you live in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, or any other U.S. protectorate we will only charge you the US Postal Rate --- for rates use our ship zip code of 30188, and check your rate online.

International Customers:

All non-U.S. international orders are shipped via UPS or the US Postal Service.

We offer 3 international shipping options:

  • P63 International Air Parcel Post *Duties May Apply*
  • P71 International Economy (4-6 weeks) *Duties May Apply*

Please note that your country may  impose tariffs and/or duty fees on your order depending on the items or the value of your purchase. These fees are unrelated to shipping costs and will originate from your country's Customs Bureau, but they will be collected by UPS prior to delivery.  If needed, UPS will attempt to contact the person listed on the order's destination and notify him or her of any additional charges.  For more information, please contact your country's Customs Bureau.

International Shipping to Unapproved Destinations:
CoffeeAM.com does not accept wire transfer or bank draft as payment for international orders. International transactions between CoffeeAM.com or any of its affiliates and an individual or commercial enterprise in any country that is not listed as an approved shipping destination under "ship to country" on our checkout page must pay with a "Certified Bank Issued Check". Once funds have been secured from issuing bank the transaction will be processed.

CoffeeAM.com reserves the right to refuse shipment to any destination. All orders from a country not listed as an approved shipping destination under "ship to country" on our checkout page must be reviewed by CoffeeAM.com management prior to shipping.

4. How long will it take for me to get my order?

We roast and fill your orders the same day to ensure freshness.  We roast and prepare your coffee for you when you order, usually within 2-3 business days (monday-friday) of the receipt of your order.  We ship domestic packages using either Priority Mail or FedEx and the delivery time will vary from 2-7 business days from the date your order is shipped. 

Priority Mail packages should arrive 2-3 days after being shipped.

Next-Day Delivery orders will be shipped as requested and we will add a surcharge to shipping.  Please note, that some equipment, syrups, and chai may not be available for overnight delivery. Remember that you must factor in roasting time even for next day delivery! International packages vary, e-mail us for details.

5. Do you provide tracking numbers or delivery confirmation numbers?

We do provide tracking numbers and Delivery Confirmation numbers on all orders. You will receive an e-mail with this information when your product ships. With the problem of spam today, sometimes our tracking emails will be blocked or put into a spam folder, if for any reason you do not get a tracking number, please contact us at 1-800-803-7774 and someone will be able to assist you.

APO orders and International orders will not be notified of tracking numbers.

6. Is your coffee of high quality? Is it Arabica?

We offer 100% High Grown Arabica. Our coffees are only of the highest quality available, we provide coffees for over 800 coffee houses and restaurants.  Our coffee is roasted in small batches, no more than 50 lbs. at a time.  The quality and freshness will far exceed any national brand, and based on our customer feedback which is Yahoo certified 95-100% Satisfied (the Highest Ranking possible) -- you will be pleased.  If not please call us and tell us how we can improve at 1-800-803-7774.

7. Can I order over the phone?

Yes. We understand that even though our site is 100% secure, ordering online is a new experience for many.  Please call us at 1-800-803-7774 if you are uncomfortable ordering online. We will be happy to assist.  We are available between 8:00am-4:30pm Eastern Time, Monday-Friday. 

8. I am experiencing problems ordering online is it my computer or your server?

It could be both!  We try to maintain the best site possible including using Yahoo! for our server and back-end support.  We do sometimes experience problems.  If you can not place your order online please call us at 1-800-803-7774. There is an answering service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Be sure to provide as much detail as possible about your order and contact information.

9. How safe is ordering online?

It is 100% safe. It is funny how many people worry about ordering online - while they don't hesitate to hand their card over to a server at a restaurant or bar.  We use a Yahoo! Secure server and guarantee you will not experience any problems by ordering online with us! If you are still unsure, we will be happy to accept your order via telephone at 1-800-803-7774.

10. Do you accept C.O.D.'s or money orders?

We do not accept C.O.D.'s.

11. What type of roast do you take your coffee to? 

We attempt to achieve the 'perfect point' for roasts on coffee.  That means that every varietal of coffee will be roasted to the point needed to highlight the characteristics of the coffee. Please give us feedback.  'Perfection' can always be improved!

We do offer Free Samples from time to time with orders. Join our mailing list and we will keep you updated on any special offers!

I wish we could afford to do so, but due to our tremendous demand we are unable to offer samples customized to each and every order..  Please understand that we receive hundreds of requests for free samples every day and are unable to provide them at this time.  We do offer 100% satisfaction guarantee so there is no risk in ordering coffees. You will not be disappointed!

13. Do you sell wholesale to restaurants, gift shops, or Coffee Houses?

Yes! While this website is primarily for retail customers that only need one or two pounds of coffee at a time, all of our coffees are available in 5 pound bags for bigger savings! Most non-coffee items such as our sauces, powders and syrups are also available in case form. You may also receive personal service by contacting our sales force at 1-800-803-7774

14. How are you different from the other coffee sites on the internet?

We are a coffee roastery. That is what we do and what we have done for over 13 years.  We roast and ship coffee at the best prices possible and offer the widest selection on the internet.  Variety, Price, and most important Quality - that is what separates us from all other coffee sites (online & offline). All our coffees are hand selected from hundreds of lots. Each coffee is given a specific roast determined by our roastmaster based on the individual characteristic of the bean and growing conditions that the coffee bush was exposed to during that season. CoffeeAM.com will do custom roasts on a limited basis. Custom roasts are produced in 25 pound increments. To request information please call 800-803-7774.
